Date: 11 April 2024

In partnership with HP Inc., YMCAs empower young people and communities with the tools and knowledge needed for success in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven world. They also bridge the digital divide, ensuring equitable access to opportunities and resources.

Selina: YMCA Albania

Selina Dragoti (pictured above) has been an active member and volunteer of the YMCA and the digital hub of Berat, Albania. She has been participating in and assisting the YMCA in Berat for almost two years. Selina was thrilled to be introduced to HP LIFE platforms and the opportunities they brought, and she spread the word about the platform with her peers.

“This is a good way to learn and improve our skills”, Selina said.

Andrea: YMCA North Macedonia

The digital centre operated by YMCA North Macedonia has been functioning seamlessly since March. As a regular visitor to the Youth Center in Bitola, North Macedonia, Andrea learned about HP LIFE courses and gained new knowledge from the platform.

“I think everyone should be educated about basic things”, she said. “After all, we live in a time where almost everything is digital”.

YMCA Moldova

YMCA Moldova’s Digital Education Initiative, powered by HP Inc., is bridging the digital gap and empowering rural communities, powered by HP Inc.

This initiative is designed to uplift local communities and Ukrainian refugees living in rural areas. Participants are learning how to use various computer and mobile tools and platforms, with a focus on boosting their effectiveness.

Said Dumitru Roibu, Secretary General of YMCA Moldova, “Our digital education initiative is not just about teaching technology; it’s about empowering individuals and communities to thrive in today’s digital world”.
